Drawing from the romanian tradition “doina” is a ballad, often a melancholic melody, used to convey deep emotions and personal experiences.
This Butoh performance is rising an act of uniting the dissolved, the inhabiting of the empty space, an incision of life while the memory fades away. It is a silent visceral walk backwards.
